New Illustration.
Yea, I know, I have been productive, in fact, I am already working on a new one, but let's introduce that one first, then give few information:
This one is called Under the Heat of Istanbul.
It related one of the adventures that Hessfog solved back at the beginning of the 90's, when he lived in Turkey, what he calls The Turkish Years:

Few things:
- This represent an action scene, there is a lot going on here. We can see a younger Hessfog, in the heart of Istanbul, in the middle of a heavy scene.
- There is a story coming with the illustration, like in The Mystery of the Tiger of the Holy Baume (see previous post), but it is being edited as I type, and so, will be available soon. The illustration and the story will be a free download, coming soon, so, stay tuned as I often say!
- Regarding the illustration itself, this is more advanced than many I've done for this character. Not only there is a lots of things going on, but there is a fair amount of details. I wanted to be as truthful as possible with the city of Istanbul, so researches were done, and the true street where this happened, back in the days, as been reproduced with as much veracity as humanly possible. I also like the dramatic effect than the illustration gives a fair bit! In fact, it is almost like a scene out of a James Bond movie, which, I must admit, I like a lot.
- Those short stories with illustrations are part of a Short Story Booklet I have been working on and will be officially released as a booklet, and will include all the short stories relating the early years of Hessfog's. the story will go from France to the USA, with some stops in Turkey and Morocco.
