Chapter 104: A Miniature World Trip . Part2

So, where did we stop yesterday?
Oh yea, on the porch of a lovely but house.
And, if I remember well, I promised you the city.
Well, here it is:

The City Building
So, here we are.
A big city, somewhere in Canada, probably at the end of the 19th century.
The industrial revolution is in the air.
Times are changing.

The Movie Theatre
And look at that, Laurel & Hardy are playing tonight!
At 7.00 pm.
Not far away, a policeman is making sure order is respected.

Train Passing By
Here and there, army groups are regrouping.
Where they come from, and where they go, only few know.
At the train station, soldiers and civilians follow the same fate.

Building
And the city is prosperous.
And the buildings are growing like mushrooms now.

City at Night
Night & Days.
The lights light up,
and life keeps going,
like a train never stopping...

Le Jardin Potager
And we hop in the train again, and houses and landscape are passing us by.
From time to time, we can admire a nice garden, source of survival for the inhabitants.

Boats Leaving & Coming
At last, we reach the Maritimes, the east cost of Canada,
just in time to jump in one of these boats,
on our way to Europe.

Berlin - 1945
And we rapidly found ourselves in the middle of the second world war,
Berlin in 1945, burning, trying to vainly resist the approach of the Allies.

And the planes are dropping bombs.

And inside each plane, someone driving it.

That would be all regarding the miniature trip for today, but soon enough, we'll be back and we'll bring you to see a car show, travel into some legendary places, and spy on some details.

Yesterday, we looked at some body art as I called it, even though, that ain't what body art is,
but anyway, today, let's look at different and interesting type of contemporary sculpture:

Red & Green
Somewhere in France I believe, an artist is making a large toile.

Around
The art of balance on a greater scale. Interesting I say...

Martin Luther King Jr
More traditional, a brand new sculpture of Martin Luther King Jr.

Floating Art
And, let's finish with a floating sculpture dripping water in Aix en Provence, France.
Conceptual art, is not, for the faint of art.

Now, before retiring into my secret mansion, let's have some look at some pics illustrating the High & Low of life in a great way:

That was close
Definitely Low.

Tomatoes Fight - Spain
Most definitely Low.

Floaded
Hmmmm... How Low can you really go?

Asian Volcano
Ah, High! Somewhere in Asia, the habitants practise a strange ritual based on the power of the volcano.

Eagle & Plane
High, very high. This is, strangely, not a fake, just one of those moment.

In The Alps
At last, very very very High. That dudes, which I have forgotten everything about,
set himself a series of challenges, all based on a wicked sense of balance.
I believe he didn't end up completed this one...

Voila, that's all for now folks.
Have a nice day and what's not.
And, once again, don't forget.

Amy

Sincerely,

Serge
